幼少期から見てきた、ムスリムが礼拝を行う際の立ち姿から着想を得ている。
鉄板を溶断・溶接して制作した彫刻を海岸に設置し、錆びていく姿を撮影した。
展示時に横一列に並んでいる彫刻は、サウジアラビアにあるメッカの方角を向いている。

Inspired by the way Muslims stand during prayer, a posture I have observed since childhood.
The sculptures are made by flame-cut and welding steel plates, then installed along the coast and photographed as they gradually rust.
When exhibited, the sculptures are arranged in a single line, facing toward Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
